Making net zero goals achieveable -
that is the ambition and mission of
SIP Labs.

SIP Labs was formed as a joint venture by sustainable finance and decarbonisation consultancy Xinfinity, foresight experts SAMI Consulting and sustainability automators Sustainaccount. 

​

Collective action in form of large-scale investments and policy reform will be required to meet net zero targets by 2050 and thereby curb global warming to 1.5° C. The estimated price tag? According to various recent reports this could be at 2-3% of global GDP. But how is this investment best placed to avoid the climate catastrophe?

​

It is clear that we as a society need to overcome the gridlock caused by 1) uncertainty, 2) lack of industry and technology specific government funding, and 3) barriers faced by capital markets to invest at large scale in innovation enabling net zero targets. 

​

SIP Labs aims to address - and solve - these issues in a comprehensive, robust and swift fashion. An underlying methodology is our own developed
Sustainable Innovation Pathways (SIP) Framework. The framework is based on an intimate understanding of three disciplines:

• Technology readiness and adoption velocity

• Futures and foresight thinking

• Financial modelling

The SIP Framework provides a holistic approach to enable net zero targets, considering:

1.  Combination of economic and industry specific factors

2.  Consideration of technology specific characteristics

3.  Acknowledgement of regulatory & legislative conditions
